I was talking to my landlady about how, if you draw a picture, it doesn't get the 'thankyou's that books, music and films get. Films will have all the credits of who had been part of it. Books will have acknowledgements, and dedications. Normally if you buy a album the band/singer will have a line or two thanking who has been involved. But with a picture, it's a lot harder to do this. So I thought I would take a moment to say thanks so much for all the messages I've received from my Golden Syrup comic. It is lovely to know that it's helping people. And a big thankyou needs to go to Killian Czuba, who got me into comics and for having difficult conversations with sunglasses on :) And to Madeleine Alcock, who gave me much needed artistic advice - without it, the comic would have been 2 panels shorter. Finally, the biggest thank you of all needs to go to Ellen Forney and her graphic memoir "Marbles", which inspired me to start drawing a depression comic. Someone has suggested I send it to her, maybe I will...
